Footsteps characteristics can also be used to prescreen for moibility-related pathologies (osteoarthritis, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, etc.) and warn caretakers of heightened risk. All of this are done without wearables, cameras, nor microphone, and hence no lifestyle change and no privacy intrusion is required.
