All the data assets are not properly modeled into the lineage (of its source and destination), and relationships (of how tables are joined or which keys are related). The absence of data catalog, and Lineage or ER diagrams in place leads to HUGE time waste in discovering and maintaining data sources.
We reverse engineer database schema from DDLs and SQL queries, then automatically create data models into lineage and ER diagrams. And a side benefit of all this, our customers will have a data dictionary with table insights of columns stats, data owners, and usage context.
